Austin Energy Announces Installation of Stealth Power EMS Series in 34 ATCEMS Ambulances

Going green can mean different things, and many organizations are looking at how they can help the environment. At Austin-Travis County EMS, green-powered electrical systems have been installed in 34 ambulances with more on the way. ATCEMS and local Austin company Stealth Power collaborated over a three-year period to develop an innovative, reliable system that provides power to the patient care compartment without having to keep the engine running. The partnership resulted in a cutting edge, green mobile technology called the Stealth Power EMS series.
