The City of New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority wanted to reduce fuel consumption in their fleet of trucks, cut operational costs, and lower carbon emissions. The department uses more than 350 trucks. Working closely with MTA, Stealth Power integrated SPAIRS LTE into the first 15 trucks as part of a pilot program at the end of January 2020. In May of that year, four of those trucks also received solar panels.
