A new recruit has joined our ranks!

Today we're introducing you to Mitchell Gregonis, ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician at Stealth Power. With more than 14 years of automotive maintenance and repair experience, he is a true automotive expert. Continue reading to learn more about Mitchell, our newest team member!

Tell us about yourself?

Well, I was born and raised in Louisville, KY, and I started working on cars when I was 16. In 2005, I graduated from automotive technology school and I started my career with a Lexus service center in Chicago as a Master Technician. I moved to Texas in 2016, and I became certified as an ASE Certified Automotive Technician, which means I have all the credentials necessary to work on any part of a vehicle. I worked at a Toyota service center from 2016-2019, and now I've joined Stealth Power.

What brought you to Stealth Power?

After so many years of working on repairing and maintaining vehicles, I wanted a new challenge. I had worked in the automotive realm for over 14 years, and I wanted to expand my knowledge and experience. Stealth Power was a natural fit for me, because the prospect of working with a small company to design and create automotive solutions really excites me.

What is your favorite work challenge?

I really like figuring out how all the pieces fit together. I enjoy working on the design aspect of how the AC and heat systems will configure along with the mobile battery systems and how all this equipment will be incorporated efficiently in one vehicle.

What's your favorite taco joint in Austin?

Without a doubt, the best tacos in Austin are at Tyson's Tacos on 46th and Airport Boulevard. Their avocado abogado is the best prime rib I've ever had in a taco, and their queso has the perfect consistency and cheesiness. It's much better than Torchy's or Chuy's!
